Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

As a Support Worker you will be working with adults who have a learning disability or mental health condition. Some of the key tasks you will be involved in include:

  • Promoting independence
  • Supporting recovery
  • Developing meaningful activities
  • Attending appointments and meetings
  • Social Support

The ideal candidate will have the ability to show empathy, compassion and have an understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities and autism. You would be someone who can offer a high standard of care, is flexible and committed, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressure.

Salary: £18291 to £21127 / year (pro-rata)
