Supported Living

As a Support Worker in our Supported Living Service you will be supporting individuals in the community to live as independant a life as possible, assisting with maintaining a healthy, safe and fulfilling lifestyle. Some of the key tasks involved include:

• Managing safety within the home
• Promoting access to meaningful activities
• Completing paperwork
• Following Care Plans
• Meal preparation
• Modelling behaviour
• Overnight Stays (sleepovers)
• Supporting Family Contact

The ideal candidate will have the ability to show empathy, compassion and have an understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities and autism. You would be someone who can offer a high standard of care, is flexible and committed, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressure, as well as supporting with the de-escalation of challenging behaviour.

Salary: £20,085.00 - £21937 / year plus Sleep Over Allowance (pro rata)
